50 Years of Junior Golf
I am not a golfer whatsoever. According to google, the average handicap for men is 14.2 - you might need to double or triple that for me, but that’s besides the point…
I can appreciate we have a lot of golf resources in Wichita, such as the Wichita Junior Golf Foundation that is celebrating 50 YEARS of teaching golf to young people in Wichita!
Over 26,000 young people have participated in this program since its first year when 400 boys and girls participated.

The Century Mission
April 4th at Midnight, the Century Mission took flight to celebrate the 100th anniversary of The World Flight which was the first-ever flight mission to circumnavigate the globe and they took off from right here in the ICT.

Orpheum Renovations
The Wichita City Council has officially approved the moola behind the renovation coming to the Orpheum which are expected to cost ~$9 million.
The iconic theatre will be closed for a whole year.
